CREATIVE DIRECTOR
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work closely with Marketing Directors to translate marketing strategies into clear messages across all communication points including retail, advertising, web, events, PR, entertainment and corporate communications.
• Create inspiration and direction for design team. Content to include label and package direction, visual and graphic language.
• Partner with Merchandising and Design group to develop compelling product stories and collaborations on a seasonal and annual basis.
• Provide creative teams with direction, assets and guidelines for translating the brand and campaigns to global, regional and local execution.
• Attract, motivate, hire, and manage internal creative team and external resources. Manage creative workflow and resources and set protocol. Manages relationships with external creative resources, agency based, consultant based and artist based for applicable projects.
• Cultivate an active debate about what makes for good work, so that diverse ideas thrive and many people have the power to choose the best direction to pursue.
• Shape the environment that attracts creative people, and that makes the organization more creative.
• Find ways to model the creative process throughout the organization, so that people know what it looks like when they see it.
